If you aren’t eating your catch, Mevagissey has lots of delicious eateries, whether you want to eat on the quay with a takeaway or settle in for classic pub grub. Below are links to our top picks.

The Fish Grill - fresh fish direct from the local fishermen and cooked harbour-side. Perfect for dinners on the quay watching the sunset.

The Harbour Tavern - lively pub with views straight onto the harbour jetty. A mixture of pub classics and local seafood specials. If you’re lucky, you’ll catch one of the live music nights whilst you have your tea!

The Ship - pub with a cosy vibe and extensive menu and draughts selection to suit all tastes.

The Loft Hatch - excellent coffee and snack spot metres from the boat’s loading point. Start your trip fully fuelled and caffeinated.

For reef and wreck fishing, our go to are Sidewinder, with lures to suit any fish, their continued research and development with the fishing community really puts them a step above the rest. And as they say…”they really are better than bait!”.
